VAN HAI SHIPPING CO., LTD. (VHS) established in 2005. The company was established with its primary purpose was to provide chartering services to the shipping and exporting industry. We were soon thereafter considered as exclusive chartering agent for number of principals and Exporters of dry cargo ships. We, then, appointed as exclusive agent of Asiatic Shipping Services Inc., a professional carrier running regular Container Liner & Tramp services from the main ports in South East Asia, Far East and the Indian Sub Continent to Iraq, Middle East and WAF.

This gave us the opportunity of discovering at first hand the pressures and responsibilities of running a shipping business. Our key factors for success are : vision, efficiency and customer’satisfactions.

Since its establishment, VHS has always been dynamically and actively involved in all shipping operations and activities with all kind of commodities and has continously improved its management, organization, and production capacity, accquiring a high growth rate in both productivity and financial targets.

VHS is highly concentrated and focused in chartering the ships from local Owners with capacity ranging from 3,000 DWT to 15,000 DWT and operating the Chartered Ships on the regular routes from Vietnam to Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, India, China… We cover major tonnage requirements for the Charterers and handle all commercial and financial management for the Owners.

You can contact us for import/export cargoes of all kinds as we have now extended our services to cover all major destinations in the region as well as worldwide (with restrictions of some prohibited areas like the war zones, out of reach of insurers’ areas…).

VHS’ activities go beyond the normal practices of other shipping companies, we offer full representation and protection of our principals’ interests, close follow up prior and after the conclusion of a fixture, we assist with C/P interpretations, laytime calculations and resolution of eventual disputes.
